Consign
Keep the Upside. Skip the Work.
Consignment means we sell your cards on your behalf: we handle the photography, listing, selling, and shipping — you receive the sale proceeds minus an agreed fee. It's built for cards worth the wait.
The honest comparison
When consignment beats a direct sale
A direct sale is faster; consignment usually nets more on higher-value cards. Fee schedules and minimums are being finalized — we'll confirm details when we talk.
| Factor | Direct Sale | Consignment |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Sellers who want a done deal — one conversation, one payment, no waiting on a market. | Higher-value cards where maximizing the final sale price matters more than speed. |
| Speed | Fastest path. Once we agree on a price, the sale is complete. | Slower by design — cards are listed and sold over time to reach the right buyer. |
| Payout | A single agreed price for the collection or lot, paid to you directly. | Sale proceeds minus an agreed consignment fee — we'll confirm details when we talk. |
| Risk | None after the sale — market swings become our problem, not yours. | You keep market exposure: results depend on what the cards actually sell for. |
| Effort | Minimal. We evaluate, you decide, done. | Still low — we handle photos, listing, selling, and shipping under agreed terms. |
The workflow
What happens to your cards
Intake
We receive your cards — at a local appointment or by mail — and log every item against your submission.
Condition record
Each card is photographed and its condition documented before anything is listed, so there's never a question about what arrived.
Pricing authority
We agree up front on how pricing decisions get made — target prices, floors, and who signs off on changes.
Listing
We photograph, describe, and list your cards where they'll actually sell, and manage buyer questions.
Sale or return window
Cards sell within an agreed window — anything unsold comes back to you per the terms we set together.
Payout
After a sale completes, you're paid the proceeds minus the agreed consignment fee, with an itemized accounting.
Full terms live on the Consignment Terms page (currently a draft pending attorney review).
