Getting started with Machete Cards
Machete Cards runs inventory, pricing and selling for card dealers, from the counter to the show table.
Every card gets one record: what you paid, its condition, its price, and where it sold. So you know what each card cost you and what it made you.
Log the card and print its label on the spot
When a card comes in, scan it, price it and print its label right then, at the counter or the table. Never leave a stack of unpriced cards to price later. That stack is dead inventory: nobody can find it, it can't sell at the right number, and it rarely gets done. Pulse lists cards with no price and cards that have sat too long, so you can see it building.
Price at intake
Set the asking price while the card is in your hand. An unpriced card has no number to print on its label or to sell it at.
Notes are private. Buyers read the Listing description.
Notes are for you and your team and are never shown to buyers. Anything a buyer should read goes in the card's Listing description, which you write on the card's page on the website.

Get a label printer
Niimbot B1
A battery-powered Bluetooth thermal printer for labels about 2 inches wide. It is the one we test with. The app prints 50 × 30 mm labels by default and also takes 50 × 50 and 50 × 80 mm rolls. Charge it before a show.
The app also recognises other Niimbot Bluetooth printers, such as the B21, D11 and D110, but only the B1 has printed from Machete on real hardware so far. Start with the B1.
To connect it in the app: turn the B1 on, open More › Settings › Labels & printer, switch it on and pick your B1 from the list.
No thermal printer? Print labels on Avery sticker sheets from the website's Labels page or from the app, or print a sheet of blank QR tags at home and attach one to a card at the table.
